How can it be that use of the unlimited data that you pay for be considered abuse of the network?

I have used over 450 GB on my unlimited plan on AT&t

Can you do the same test now after they changed the plans?

It doesn't matter if you use a TB of data the networks are designed to knock you off when it's at it's busyness times. I think you over were able to go over was because Verizon said it was ok in the first place.

It's unlimited if you're selling unlimited then if you use 1tb why do you need a notation or whatever for them to not shutdown your account it's unlimited Jesus Christ man

The most I have ever used is 19 gigs and I still had 4 bars everywhere and fast data. Love Verizon

If you use a $80 phone plan sim card in a verizon jetpack or mifi I don't think it would count towards that 10gb as it would register as phone data, I was even able to set it up online and not have to start a phone plan then buy the hotspot and put card in it, just go in store and say you want an $80 phone plan on a mifi hotspot or buy online

Just a heads up, the download speed is A LOT faster on your phone than on a hotspot. You might as well plug your phone into your computer and do a usb hotspot.

The Verizon Tower im on in Mass. is so over crowded speeds never reach above 200kbps on LTE at any time of day except for 3-7am

I hope this new data war leads to lower prices and softer caps. I live way out in the sticks. I just want 5 mbps+ thats actually unlimited. Maybe 5g will help, I don't know. I hate this limited "unlimited" crap. I would accept reduced 4g speeds that is unlimited.

I actually went on and tested Verizon's on a galaxy s7 (don't make a difference just mentioning, 4g should work great), going on a few months strong I have little to no problems. this is all considering I live next to a tower on my property in the sticks. so yeah even after the priority ten gigs it'll run fine on pc ps4 or xbox one and even download fine. i should note take mind your phones battery and processor, not greatly but just a warning. p.s I have in a high pop area with 4 bars and it wasn't ideal but it worked. happy gaming all.

there is no need to do it at night. there are other people that don't care and it's a multimillion dollar network, if it can't handle you then something is wrong.

Deprioritize just measured when watching a video it might drop to 3G, but jump back to 4G when someone else stops.

I've never been over 300 gigs

    The best I've used

  • Dark Shadow
    Posted at 14:59h, 14 February

Dam the hugest I've used is 215 gigs of data on the Verizon network

  • TheNMINC
    Posted at 14:59h, 14 February

I finally witnessed de-prioritization at it's fullest. I have two AC791L Jetpacks witht he first being at 125GB and I'm usually cruising around 35 – 45Mb, but around 5:30pm yesterday and today when the Netflix, Hulu,Amazon crowd got online I went from 33Mb to 6Mb. Mind you I thought I was crazy, until I fired up the second AC791L with only 11GB of data used and it's screaming at 39Mb downloads. As the network gets busier I see this slow down being more frequent in many areas, the speed is better than nothing or 3G speed, but it still sucks.

I'm a bastard when it comes to data so I done my own stress tests. There is throttling but only when your in busy network areas. A quick trip out in the country or low usage areas, have at it. I travel all the time and it's a dream with Verizon again. It's amazing when a major loss of profits happens and suddenly a company can do anything.

I'm going to use 2tb in the city just becuase I saw this video😀

  • terminaterjohn
    Posted at 14:59h, 14 February

I understand that you and Verizon don't want us to use 1 TB. But shouldn't we? Why in the hell would Verizon sell Unlimited Internet if we shouldn't use Unlimited?? Unlimited means to use as much internet as possible at Verizon's fastest speed for an available user. If it's 1 GB or 50TB, it shouldn't matter. This is what pisses me off. Verizon sells unlimited data with restrictions. If you're going to do that, then call it limited. Not unlimited. BTW i have the 200GB legacy unlimited Plan.

I got the Unlimited plan a few weeks ago and I love it. You can also stick the SIM inside of a hotspot and get unlimited 4G LTE hotspot.
