19 Nov 10 of the best rugged, most durable smartphones

There is a super strong smart phone. Nickname " the brick" but Telus dose not mention or advertise it you need to demand for the phone. It's a 230$ contract 5 year or 1000$ up front no contract

don't buy atelstra tough tm3 because no one wants to help you on how to download photos. Who cares if it is durable if you don't get instructions or help[ on how to use it. Thanks Telstra for upsetting us all on mother's day when we could not download the photos. i am finished with you for ever.

I own the conquest s8 pro (similar to conquest 6) . Don't buy it. It is a nightmare to say the least. It doesn't run on any LTE bands in America (I checked with all carriers fastest it can go is 3g on tmobile), Camera can take decent stills but is otherwise abysmal, it is not waterproof and almost immediately the speaker started fail after it was exposed to water, and finally the battery is not good it will last you 2 days however it almost always dies at 10% charge remaining and also take a year to charge. On top of all this the phone is also plagued with software issues as well as internal hardware issues. I had to have the battery soldered back into place TWICE and I have now given up on the third disconnection. The only positive thing I have to say about it is that it looks amazing and the body of the phone itself is truly rugged. The glass held up and resisted scratches and the body never bends or anything like that but like I said, not waterproof.

PhoneArena, I'm looking for a (newer model) smart phone with a full qwerty keyboard. Thanks for your help. In addition, I'm looking for a version that's either unlocked or which works with Virgin Mobile and isn't expensive.

Thanks for video. You have a good taste and the informative reviews. I don't argue, excellent smartphones for thrill-seekers. But not for all because are expensive. Umi London and Uhans A101 from state employees present as shockproof too.

Mainstream phones are basically built to break as planned obsolescence is designed to force users to upgrade all the time. Even if you manage to find a phone which will survive physically, it will be put to sleep early by manufacturers which refuse to release new software, even if the hardware can handle it. The industry is corrupt and needs way more regulations to protect the consumer

Thank you so much for making this video. I work retail, do a lot of heavy lifting, and have gone through probably at least 8 phones just in the last 2 years because of it. Maybe I need to just get one of these.

Even in 2015/12 I am stockpiling Nokia 3310/3315 and batteries at ~1 or 2 a month. So what it's only 2G, the dimensions, weight, battery life and functionality have a true sense of equilibrium especially with the newer battery tech.

Only bad bit it I have crap 2G reception at home unless standing at the far corner of my backyard… and even then sometimes.

This video was petty crap. I thought you'd be reviewing thick/chunky/meaty phones equivalent to a Full Rugged ToughBook/PortablePC.

Well maybe they don't make smartphones like that? I want a LARGE phone, (not screen)…. the girth and bulk!!!

Does Motorola or LG make one (Android/Windows?)
