You are a valued AT&T customer, and we know how important it is for you to understand the information provided on your monthly statement. That’s why we want to provide you with this bill explanation tour. Let’s discuss Mobile Share Value Plans for business and how charges may appear.
With AT&T Mobile Share Value plans for Business you no longer have to pay for separate unlimited talk, text and data plans for each Corporate Responsibility User. AT&T Mobile Share Value plans for Business also include tethering, Visual Voicemail, and free connections to over 30,000 AT&T Wi-Fi hot spots. Let’s look at the Bill-At-A-Glance and Service Summary sections of the Mobile Share Value Plan statement which give you a brief description of the Mobile Share Value Plan for your account. You will see the mobile numbers for all devices even if the device, such as a mobile tablet, may not be able to make phone calls . Here you will also see the previous balance, as well as the total new charges. In this example, the mobile numbers are being billed $279.92.
On the right side, you will find the Group 1 — Data Summary, which gives you a brief description of the Mobile Share plan for your account. You will also find a per line breakdown of the data used by each mobile number. In this example the mobile numbers used 11,235 MB of data combined.
In the next section of the statement, you will find the primary mobile number listed. In this example, you can see that the mobile number is billed $100 for the Mobile Share Value 10GB plan and $40 for the device. it also receives a discount of $25. This brings the total down to $115. The $100 monthly service charge for the 10GB plan covers the data for all five mobile numbers on this sample bill. You will also find summaries for voice and data usage that are associated with this number. Let’s take a look at how charges appear for the remaining mobile numbers.
The next device listed on the Mobile Share Value Plan statement is a basic, quick messaging phone; the mobile number is billed $15 for this plan. Voice and Data usage summaries for this line are found in the Other Charges and credits section.
The third mobile number is billed $20 for the Mobile Share laptop connect 4G LTE plan. Data usage summary for this line is also available in the Other Charges and Credits section.
The fourth Mobile Share Value plan device on the statement is a smartphone; this line billed $40 for the plan. You will also notice the discount appears as a $25 credit. This brings the total down to $15 for this line. You will also find summaries for voice and data usage that are associated with this line.
The fifth and final number is also billed $40 for the Mobile Share Value Smartphone. However, notice the $25 discount is not applied for this line. Instead, this mobile number is receiving a $5 discount. The Other Charges and Credits section explains this mobile number was added on March 3rd. As a reminder, mobile numbers activated after February 2nd on a 2-year contract are ineligible for the $25 discount. You will also notice an explanation of prorated charges from the period of March 3rd to March 7th — in addition to the full monthly service charge for the March 8th to April 7th billing cycle.
