This is my story about Sprint and my long distance (LD) charges on my local phone bill. We went on vacation for two-weeks and we joked that the only thing we saved on vacation was our long-distance bill because the family we visited was the reason our LD was so expensive. So when we received our next bill we were shocked to see our LD bill had gone up. Not only were there charges against our phone number but some charges actually overlapped which was impossible because we didn't have a call waiting feature on our phone at the time. We knew we'd been crooked and we proved it to our Sprint customer service but they refused to credit the bill because they were "just the agent who did the billing" for Sprint Long-Distance and that if we didn't pay our bill in FULL they were going to shut-off our phone. It took me 3 months talking to Sprint LD to finally get them to see their error and get our bill credited. Of course we will NEVER use Sprint again.

Rocket stick guy let his invoices continue for a year, full well knowing what the monthly charge was. He could have cancelled if he was unhappy with the service after the first month but instead he waits a full 3 years and decides he should be credited for all of it??? Also I'm sure he used the service for the rocket sticks as well.

or just switch to mobilicity…or better yet get a plan from the U.S. with roaming in Canada included for much less than what these clown corporations are offering in Canada!

A refurbished product, from the manufacturer typically goes through more testing than a new phone to ensure that it does work 100%. Legally after 15 days, they can only replace it with a phone of the same model (under manufacturer warranty). Anything extra is literally just that, extra.

i worked for telus/koodo and fido/rogers in retention. tip one just ask to cancel. tip two dont cancel and call back until you speak to someone who will fix your problem, a ton of agent will do stuff they are not supposed to if you ask properly be nice and keep them on the line until they do it. tip #3 some stuff is not possible technically speaking you can ask for supervisor of retention then even ask for their head office and email them if they still deny you, you file a complaint to the bbb and threaten to sue. After all of this if it is not done, it is probably not possible :p

WOW NANCY! I got a bad iPhone4, called in, the chick wouldn't fix it and offered me a used SAME MODEL phone, I was in the middle of moving I said NO WAY, fix my bill, reset the phone, something but I didn't want the other one- same problems AND I WAS MOVING – too much hassle.
I COULD NOT GET THIS BROAD OFF THE PHONE UNTIL I SAID FINE SEND THE DAMN THING.
Oh she was so happy to "help" me.
I go to just send the thing back, cuz as I said I didnt have time to deal with it.
    THE UPS GUY STOLE IT.
All the sudden I'm getting these desperate texts— SEND THE PHONE BACK OR WE WILL BILL YOU FOR BOTH….
I called said I followed directions to the TEE.
Well, $900.00 bucks later …. UPS GUY gets free phone for his girlfriend for Xmas compliments of me and I STILL had this BS PHONE that couldn't SEND A TEXT, dropped calls etc for ANOTHER 2 YEARS!
T-Mobile wouldn't do anything. UPS wouldn't do anything. I was so tired and frustrated I just gave up!

    Thanks for NOTHING T-MOBILE! #Tmobile #UPS #SCAMS

And thats why I use the $20 chatr plan with unlimited local calling and 50 text messages per month. I don't text with data and I don't need data because I have internet at my house which I can use to message people. They can't even charge me more because with chatr you buy a prepaid voucher and you enter the code into your phone to pay your monthly payment. As long as you don't send more than 50 text messages and buy the prepaid voucher every month you'll be fine.
