Hi Ty! I have an unlocked ATT iPhone 4s (iOS 7.0.4) with a GPP sim. Everything is working great, but I can get iMessage and FaceTime to use my phone. Can you help me please!

Sources do not get updated when the source is added
Any fix for that? It says some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead????

I solved this same issue once by installing tether me from cydia. Once it was installed it stopped automatically turning off. Try it and let me know how it goes

Thanks for all the great videos! I have a Spring 4s that I unlocked with the GPP SIM for use on AT&T. Is there a way to enable iMessage and FaceTime in my situation? If so, can you please post a video on that? Thanks!

If you are unlocked using a sam ticket unlock ticket then you are jailbroken and can use this solution.

    Hey ty,

just found this video, but to late. I followed your instructions for my Sprint iphone jailbreak and R-SIM III unlock everything seemed to work fine till I configured for MMS and WEB, then had this problem with texting. In course of trying to fix I got it really screwed up now won't work on GSM at all. Tried everything to restore to factory and start over but I get error can not restore 3194 even when I try iOS 6. I need your help my friend. solaveilover@gmail.com

Are you unlocked to T-Mobile and did you make sure to go into settings/general/network/cellular data network and hit reset twice. You may need a reboot to help the settings kick in.

I've never tried but you'd be on a tethered jailbreak. You should try and let me know if you don't mind being tethered for a little while.

try turning off imessage and facetime from settings, Reboot the device and go into i5MMS and reactivate facetime and imessage then go back into settings and turn imessage and facetime back on. Are you unlocked to T-Mobile?

  • iPhoneTy
