Today, I got an email for 1 day special on their 2nd phone the HTC EVO 4G.  The one with 8 megapixel camera for $99.
But it is tied with free trail offers, so I decided not to go with it.

Might want to try their 3.95 service that let you roll over 500mb data, I am thinking about it…

Are you able to access internet via wifi without using freedompop data?

Is there any additional charge that Freedompop didn't mention in their advertisement? Are you paying any extra charge for using this Freedompop HTC Evo? Please review about call quality, network and net speed, both inside home and outside.

I got a 2500 ah battery from ebay. I'm getting 7-8 hours instead of 5-6 hours.
I also have task manager installed that kills stuff every 30 minutes.

I just put a 64 GB in. It does not recognize xfat out of the box, but after reformatting it, it works.

That's awesome news actually. No talking on the phone when you are driving! Kids will have no incentive to do it.

Yah, there's only so much you can do with that phone. It's infamous for bad battery life.

But at least 8 hours is better than 2 or 3.

Call OK on Wi-fi, OK if you stand around…
NO need to try if you are moving (driving – either on 3G or 4G WiMax)

Yeap, battery life still no good, good for 8 hours without 4G, with wi-fi on.

Check to see that you don't have apps keeping your phone awake and the network active. Wimax drains a LOT of power. That phone is also infamous for horrible battery life the first 2 or 3 times you charge it. After that it usually improves.
