Sprint drops bombs on Apple iphone world

29 Oct Sprint drops bombs on Apple iphone world

Yup it is really pre-order evening and Sprint dropped a doosey…
Unlimited All the things and a Free Apple iphone for $70 a thirty day period…. Yup.
But your Apple iphone outright or presently have one particular and it is really $fifty for unlimited everything. It will be really really interesting to see how T-Cellular responds in this article.

What are your ideas?

Honestly wifi and data unlimited should not be over 20 a month.. In Korea it's so damn cheap

Still think AT&T and Verizon win as far as nationwide consistency is concerned. Cricket appears to be a great option- it runs off AT&T's towers and offers unlimited data capped at 8 mbps for only $65 (when you use autopay). 8 mbps as a maximum speed certainly won't win speed test awards but I'm sure it's enough to check Twitter/Facebook and play games like Hearthstone.

Their network is still the worst.

Great plan..network sucks. Sadly Sprint is broken and needs a serious fix. They have allowed the worst reps in their stores to represent them. I opened a family (framerly) account last year and in the end, I was lied to, they padded the bill with unauthorized add on's, and the framerly plan group NEVER materialaized like the rep promised. We returned 2 iphones and 2 droid phones and I fought them hard since their coverage maps are completely inaccurate. They are in dire need of a National Sales Manage who will weed out these lying reps who are serious liars. Ugg, it's no wonder you continue your downward slide.

All sounds like bullshit to me..
I got on the hook last year with sprint. They were advertising $50 unlimited everything / month plus 20 financing. 0 upfront..

I paid $350 upfront, my first bill was $145 AND for the next 3 months It was $102ish … Because I had to have insurance.

This plan seems to be bs because 20/month to finance the phone.. Exactly what iPhone are you getting?? 16gb? What if I want 6splus 64gb?

After my experience with sprint last year.. I would rather buy the phone outright and have Cricket install a sim..

They lied to me. Told me we buy your ATT plan then on bill I noticed it says 1 year "promotional" after that it goes up! Also you can't play any you tube on their iphone it stops after 5 minute. Also they can't fix glitches.

Sprints lessening plan is stupid I wanna own the phone and I don't wanna have to keep the device for two years and there is a catch because you are paying for the phone you said you pay 20 a month to cover the cost so you still paying for the device

  • MaPee1982
    Posted at 07:19h, 29 October

$50 for the plan, plus $20 to rent an iPhone that you have to return when you want to upgrade phone, plus another $10 for "premium data", plus $11 if you want insurance. Total (without tax & surcharge) $80 or $91 if insurance added. Same shit like AT&T & Verizon. Sprint knows, and I see it too, that stupid iSheep iDiots will blindly buy this shit up just to get their hands on the iPhone. Now Sprint is thinking like Steve Jobs!!! I pay $35 (after tax & surcharges) a month on Sprint for unlimited Talk, Text and Data using any 4G LTE enabled Android phones. SERO! FTW.

The problem with Sprint for me is both one: AT&T offers WAY, WAY superior speeds and coverage in my area, with a complete HSPA+ fallback, and number two: there's no Spark anywhere near my area, barely any LTE, and no converted Nextel towers yet nor 850MHz, and I'm not fucking falling back to 3G when their high ass frequencies can't reach where I am or in my house. That means I'm only left with T-Mo, which I just tried for 2 months, who is even worse than Sprint outside of cities, and I'm sure as hell not tithing to the VZW cult for the same dogshit and their data network was the worst experience I've ever had on a smartphone and I'm never going back to those criminals. I hate T-Mo thumpers that defend VZW as number two; no they are NOT and no T-Mo is not number 1, 2 or 3 outside of any city or direct suburbs; they just have way, way too much more work to do.

If ever move to any area where Sprint has Spark and 850Mhz LTE as a fallback, THEN I'll consider going with them, otherwise; I steer clear of CDMA cocksuckers and AT&T is the only solid choice for me. Sorry to people that have a problem with them, but they've been great to me and many others, and if you think they're THAT bad, they wouldn't keep their prices noticeably lower than Verizon, have the best ranked customer services (you can have bad experiences with any company's service reps, so stfu), have constant promotions, let old-timers keep their unlimited (don't give me the "they throttle at 5GB" shit, plus I'm sure the FCC will force them to get rid of that), and they just uped the data more. Plus they have Cricket which kills T-Mobile's prices and service where they don't have full LTE and gives you plenty of speed for the prices and prepaid.

TL;DR: Until T-Mo gets their shit together and not only upgrades, but builds many more new towers, AND Sprint rebuilds their shit and converts at least most of the Nextel towers, I'm left with no other choices, point blank.

I'm on a family plan with AT&T. Six lines, unlimited talk and text, and we share 30GB of data. Split that up, that's 5GB each. I just got my iPhone 6 and I pay $70 a month since we split the bill. AT&T is 100,000x faster than Sprint. I had my iPhone 5 with them and two years later, I'm glad I got my iPhone 6 with AT&T.

5GB is not Unlimited, Sprint was the first carrier i ever used And twas a nightmare, they should get sued for false advertisment, i wounder how they survive by ripping people off!!,, plus all theses Cariers redefined the word Unlimited… they should look it up in a Dictionary! Im not going to mention the carriers name but i actually got a message from them stating that im overloading the network and shut off the Data completely when iwas heavily dependent on it with work. MY Suggestion Skip All The Big Letters and Small Numbers and Jump on To Reading that fine print 1st. Unlimited=Unlimited like 2=2 😉 like in some companies Unlimited=5GB and addition $15/1GB OR WHATEVER THE CASE MAYBE!

I cry bullshit, if you sign a contract with sprint, you are screwed, plain and simple. My family uses Tracfone, Net10, and Straight Talk and we love it. My roomate and his brother are getting billed for over 100$ per phone with sprint, I feel bad for them.

  • Hal Mason
    Posted at 07:19h, 29 October

TK you didn't mention in the terms and conditions that the iphone must be returned to sprint without damage. If the representative at sprint notices damage beyond normal wear and tear (which would vary by representative) the consumer would then have to pay the full price for the phone (it wasn't clear if they meant $650 or the remaining balance of the phone since the lease costs $480 after 24 mos.) Sprint offers 2 protection plans one at $11/mo and one at $13/mo. Not a bad idea considering how likely the average user to drop the phone and crack the screen

You all may want to check out freedompop. They have "unlimited" everything plan Its unlimited talk and text the first 1 Gig of Data is @ LTE speeds after that you are throttled to 3G speed but there are ways to boost that 1 Gig Data. The calls are VOIP and they run on sprint network and allow you to bring you own phone best phones you can bring atm is Galaxy S4 and Iphone 5/5s. Oh yea the price is 19.99$ a month no taxes lol.

I left T-Mobile for Sprint about 5 months ago and I haven't had  any problems at all. I have unlimited everything and I get an employee discount so I pay $68 a month vs $98 with T-Mobile…very happy so far

What if I don't have an iPhone. And I'm about to get my first one at sprint? Do still pay the $70?

If I lived in an area where sprint had LTE maybe I'd do it. My friend has sprint and I have tmobile and I always get better service and faster data speeds. She's also told me for the past 2 years she gets text messages from sprint saying how they're going to be doing upgrades to third network, and they never do anything

for the buying out of contracts if your talking about it takeing up to 8 weeks to get yours paid off T-mobile buy out your contract is the same takes 8 week.Tmobile got the same complains because, people  dont pay attention before actually doing it.

What I don't get with Sprint is they don't try to put up more towers. All they want to do is upgrade the data speeds at the towers they already have. If I don't have enough towers to pick up a signal then who cares about data speeds. Customers don't leave because of data speeds. They leave because of no to little service. I have a family plan with 5 phones on it. They to trend towards the familys more. I have more but that is my soap box for today.

Hey cool video. I'm a T-Mobile customer and with that iPhone deal I may add a second line on sprint. There are a lot of techies out there who claim that unlimited is dead, is it going to be swiftly replace by all these tiered and shareable plans. Is it still a good move to be on sprint, knowing their apparent struggles (they tried to merge with T-Mobile).

It's more than 70 a month that's not including taxes…andddd insurance which is an additional 13 bucks a month… And depending on. The gb you choose the monthly cost will be higher obviously so it's more like 80 to 90 bucks a month
