Aaron takes a first look at Sprint’s flavor of the LG Optimus G. Coming soon to the nation’s third largest wireless carrier, the Optimus G offers a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, 4.7-inch IPS HD display, 13-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, a 2,100 mAh battery, 4G LTE, and Android 4.0 with LG’s UI. Sprint’s model ups the camera to 13-megapixels, but 4G LTE isn’t as widespread. Should you consider it this holiday season?

No! If it was GSM you could. CDMA means it stays with the same company!

I can confirm that this phone is extremely responsive. Its snappy and has possibly the best touch responsiveness of alla android phones. Now i know that LG is not a high value brand especially on phones but there 1) we have to applaud when a brand does something really good and 2) there is a reason google used this phone to make their nexus device. Its a very good phone, it only a needed better marketting and LG needs to perfect their cameras now. UI, screen and build quality are top notch

I, for one, am glad Sprint is rolling out their 4G LTE network here in Charlotte. Their 3G speeds are beyond horrible…
