    Verizon sold their internet and tv customers to Frontier – by the far the worse company I've had the displeasure to do business with in the last 40 years – send them both a message by also cancelling your Verizon Cell Phone account – I did and I've never been happier.

    Hello. I've had a big problem with Verizon. I had a phone. Then I had a problem. Sendinfing in back. Well it got lost. I had no phone. Second time. And. Third time. All these years. I've paid my. Bills on. Time. Now. They. Are. Charging me. Over a thousands of dollars. No. I'm on the credits reports. It suxks. Every 2 hours. I get calls. So no I got a pee played phone. I'm tired of all rhis

    There are so many promotions. As a Verizon Sales rep if you tell a customer they will get a deal and it turns out you had the details about the deal wrong. The only resolution is for the rep to apologize for misinforming you about it. They don't purpously do it. Verizon just always has so many promotions its hard to keep up and there's always the tiny details about the promos like "free phone with a trade in worth 20 dollars or more". I've mis informed a customer before and I felt so terrible. They were supposed to get IPhones half off but we didn't have IPhones at the time and I had to order them. When they came in the store the promotion had ended. This was on Christmas Eve to top it off 🙁

    Verizon is refusing to stand by a trade promised in writing: Verizon Chat ID #753605831989609345 Chatted on 01/20/2017 at 23:16:57. This is a copy and paste of the exact words of the Verizon Wireless representative:
    "Verizon – So what I will do is to initiate a request to have your account checked. Then I would need to partner you with our Trade in team at 800-416-8894 and they can and will be able to provide the promotion where you can trade in your phone even with cracked screen and you can choose from HTC, LG or Motorola.
    Verizon – For your added convenience, I will note everything we have discussed today so you will be assisted properly and for a speedy assistance."
    They now refuse to honor this after what I estimate to be 20 hours of subsequent phone calls and trips into the store to complete the trade above.

    go off contract. it isn't worth it to sign up for a scammy two year deal in which you end up paying more than you would for just buying the fucking phone outright. screw it. buy the phone and switch to off contract like Metro PCS or Cricket or whatever. don't trust these large corporations!

    AT&T is just as bad. Should have gone with T-Mobile. They are killing it right now. Unlimited data and their coverage is just as good as Verizon and their network is faster. No I'm not a T-Mobile rep, just a happy customer saving a lot of money while getting the services that I should be for the money. Verizon and AT&T are a joke.

    and people switch carriers out of bitterness, but I'm telling you, every carrier does this. It's not on purpose! But there are so many promotions and so much information going on that representatives make mistakes, and by the time you find out, sometimes it's too late and there's nothing that anyone can do about it. but at the same time, they are forced to appear like they are resolving your issue so they may try to escalate it but fail, or it might get escalated and the system might crash and there's no way to prove what happened, and if we just assume that the customer is always right, we would always be giving away thousands of dollars which is not good business practice, and if somebody needs to credit your account, we have to go up a level, and then that person has to go up another level for the kind of credit you are wanting, each person just having to believe what they hear, and being audited so yeah it's a mess. the area manager or district manager level is what you want with something like that. Not the CEO's secretary. that's not part of their job. there's really no way to prevent this from happening in the future and it will be like that every carrier you go to.

    It took 3 weeks for verizon fios to CHANGE MY ADDRESS though I submitted a transfer request on the 20th of May… I didn't get internet and cable until a month later… right now… they magically have seen my account only having internet (me explaining my apt property management firm provides both)…. and my account showed my box has been returned. Nope my box is still here and I can't watch cable. I have been on the phone with 5 different reps trying to have them fix this and they are trying to give me a lesson on why it's not working…. their lesson, I cancelled my cable. NO YOU DUMB ASSHOLES!!! They fucked up this account just like they fucked up my cell phone account which is why I am with sprint. If sprint could start doing internet/cable that would be great and Id pay extra a month until we get a house just to have actual customer service. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!
