I had 3 grandfathered line unlimited data and received a letter that our service would be canceled on Feb 16th. DO NOT TRUST VERIZON! We went to Cricket at 8mbps with no de-prioritization. 300+GB a month no issues. What most don't understand is your only as fast as the server your connected to. Major servers take into account average household mbps download to combat their upload. In other words on a mobile device anything over 12mbps doesn't matter and is nearly ignorant to brag about. – John

If you look on Reddit, customers on Verizon are already complaining about much slower data speeds.

I am not going to get a Verizon unlimited data plan because it is not truly unlimited data.

It's a tuff choice cause I live in the NJ/NYC area but as ems driver I be driving to places specially pa or south jersey but in those area tmobile is spotty and I use a lot of data cause of here we go gps app but once I reach over 28gb of data I notice I could have full bars of LTE but they throttle me down a lot but I notice in places where there a lot of tmobile customers be in even tho I seen an increase in towers but service still spotty or throttle i specially notice when I'm streaming Apple Music but I'm hoping that if Verizon throttle is not as bad then I'll switch but what sucks about Verizon is there 3G service pretty slow when I use to have but the coverage is a it's a killer

I'm thinking of signing up with Verizon in the near future as a secondary line. The coverage here is excellent. Most of my friends and family are on Verizon and they have excellent service.
